ترحب وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين بالقرار الذي اتخذته إسبانيا والنرويج وايرلندا بالاعتراف بدولة فلسطين. وبهذه الخطوة المهمة، أثبتت هذه الدول مرة أخرى التزامها الثابت بحل الدولتين وتحقيق العدالة التي طال انتظارها للشعب الفلسطيني.

تؤكد الوزارة ان هذه الاعترافات تأتي انسجاماً مع القانون الدولي وجميع قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، الأمر الذي سيساهم بدوره بشكل إيجابي في جميع الجهود الدولية الرامية إلى إنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غير القانوني وتحقيق السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.

وفي هذا الصدد، تدعو الوزارة مرة أخرى جميع الدول التي لم تعترف بعد بدولة فلسطين إلى المضي قدماً بالاعتراف كخطوة نحو إنهاء الظلم التاريخي الذي يتعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني منذ عقود من الاحتلال، والاعتراف بحقوقهم وتطلعاتهم غير القابلة للتصرف، في تقرير المصير في دولتهم المستقلة ذات السيادة، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the decision made by Spain, Norway, and Ireland to recognize the State of Palestine. With this important step, these countries have once again demonstrated their steadfast commitment to the two-state solution and achieving long-awaited justice for the Palestinian people.

The ministry affirms that these recognitions are in line with international law and all relevant United Nations resolutions, which will positively contribute to all international efforts aimed at ending the illegal Israeli occupation and achieving peace and stability in the region.

In this regard, the ministry once again calls on all countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to move forward with recognition as a step towards ending the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people for decades of occupation. This recognition acknowledges their rights and aspirations, which are non-negotiable, in determining their destiny in their independent, sovereign state, with its capital in East Jerusalem.

Kwa hatua hii muhimu, nchi hizi zimeonyesha tena dhamira yao thabiti kwa suluhisho la mataifa mawili na kufikia haki ambayo watu wa Palestina wamekuwa wakisubiri kwa muda mrefu.

Wizara inathibitisha kwamba hatua hizi za kutambua zinaendana na sheria za kimataifa na maazimio yote husika ya Umoja wa Mataifa, ambayo yatachangia kwa njia chanya katika jitihada za kimataifa za kumaliza ukaliaji wa Israel usio halali na kufikia amani na utulivu katika eneo hilo.

Kwa heshima hiyo, wizara inawaomba tena nchi zote ambazo bado hazijatambua Palestina kama nchi kuendelea mbele na kutambua kama hatua ya kumaliza dhuluma za kihistoria ambazo watu wa Palestina wamekuwa wakikumbana nazo kwa miongo mingi ya ukaliaji. Kutambuliwa kwa Palestina kama nchi kunaenzi haki zao na matarajio yao, ambayo hayawezi kubadilishwa, katika kufanya maamuzi kuhusu hatima yao katika nchi yao huru lenye mamlaka yake, na mji mkuu wake ukiwa Yerusalemu Mashariki."
