Wizara imesisitiza mambo yafuatayo:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Israel’s Cancellation of the Operations of 37 International Non-Governmental Organizations The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine strongly condemns the arbitrary measure taken by the Israeli occupation authorities in cancelling the work permits of a group of prominent international and humanitarian relief organizations operating in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry rejects the justifications put forward by Israel for this decision, noting that these institutions provide vital humanitarian, health, and environmental assistance to our people, especially in the Gaza Strip, at a time when the Palestinian people are being subjected to genocide and starvation, which Israel has used as a weapon of war. This comes in addition to the ongoing aggression against refugee camps in the West Bank. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirms that Israel has no sovereignty over the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem, and that the State of Palestine welcomes the work of these nationally and internationally recognized institutions, particularly as they operate in accordance with internationally accepted humanitarian standards. The Ministry stressed that Israel’s actions, as an illegal occupying power, in halting the work of these organizations constitute piracy, thuggery, and measures that violate international law and norms, including the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice regarding Israel’s obligations toward the work of humanitarian organizations. No party has the right to suspend their services or obstruct their operations. The Ministry further pointed out that Israel does not want any witnesses to its crimes and seeks to prevent institutions that support the Palestinian people and hinder Israel from advancing its colonial project aimed at destroying Palestinian life, particularly those working in vital fields such as child protection, health, education, water, refugees, and other humanitarian sectors that lie at the core of the Palestinian cause. In this context, the Ministry calls upon the international community and the United Nations to reject these Israeli measures and to take punitive and deterrent steps to confront such practices, especially the restriction of humanitarian work, the shrinking of civic space in Palestine, and the undermining of civil society and its national and international institutions. It stresses that the time has come for states that host these organizations to take firm action against Israel for its crimes and its grave violations of international law and human rights.
