Tamko la Pamoja la kundi la nchi kutoka kanda mbalimbali kuhusu hatua ya Israel kuitambua kanda ya "Somaliland" ya Jamhuri ya Shirikisho la Somalia mnamo tarehe 26 Desemba 2025



Mawaziri wa Mambo ya Nje wa nchi za Palestina, Misri, Algeria, Komoro, Djibouti, Gambia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Uturuki, Yemen, Indonesia, pamoja na Umoja wa Ushirikiano wa Kiislamu (OIC) na Baraza la Ushirikiano la Ghuba (GCC), wamesisitiza mambo yafuatayo:

  1. Kupinga kwa kauli moja uamuzi wa Israel wa kuitambua kanda ya "Somaliland" ndani ya Jamhuri ya Shirikisho la Somalia mnamo tarehe 26 Desemba 2025. Hii ni kutokana na madhara makubwa yanayoweza kutokea kwa amani na usalama katika Pembe ya Afrika na Bahari ya Shamu (Red Sea) pamoja na athari zake kwa amani ya dunia nzima. Hatua hii pia inaonyesha jinsi Israel inavyopuuza sheria za kimataifa waziwazi.

  2. Kulaani vikali utambuzi huo ambao ni ukiukaji mkubwa wa misingi ya sheria za kimataifa na Mkataba wa Umoja wa Mataifa. Mkataba huo unasisitiza ulazima wa kulinda uhuru wa nchi na mipaka yake, na hatua hii inaonyesha nia ya Israel ya kupanua ushawishi wake kimabavu.

  3. Kuunga mkono kikamilifu uhuru wa Jamhuri ya Shirikisho la Somalia, na kukataa kabisa hatua yoyote inayolenga kudhoofisha umoja wa Somalia, mipaka yake, au mamlaka yake juu ya ardhi yake yote.

  4. Utambuzi wa sehemu fulani ya nchi (bila ridhaa ya nchi mama) ni kitendo hatari ambacho hakijawahi kutokea, kinatishia amani na usalama wa kimataifa, na kinakiuka misingi mikuu ya sheria za kimataifa na Mkataba wa Umoja wa Mataifa.

  5. Kukataa katakata uhusiano wowote unaoweza kuwepo kati ya hatua hiyo na majaribio yoyote ya kuwafukuza Wapalestina kwa nguvu kutoka kwenye ardhi yao; jambo ambalo linakataliwa kwa namna yoyote ile kikanuni.

Joint Statement by a cross regional group of countries commenting on Israel’s recognition of the “Somaliand” region of the Federal Republic of Somalia on 26 December 2025

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Union of the Comoros, the Republic of Djibouti, the Republic of The Gambia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Iraq, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, the Republic of Maldives, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Sultanate of Oman, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Yemen, the Republic of Indonesia, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, underscored the following: 1- Their uniquivocal rejection of Israel’s recognition of the “Somaliland” region of the Federal Republic of Somalia on 26 December 2025, given the serious repercussions of such unprecedented measure on peace and security in the Horn of Africa, the Red Sea, and its serious effects on international peace and security as a whole, which also reflects Israel’s full and blatant disregard to international law; 2- Their condemnation in the strongest terms of such recognition, which constitutes a grave violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, which explicitly stipulates the imperative of protecting the sovereignty of states and their territorial integrity, and reflects Israel’s expansionist 3- Full support of the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the unequivocal rejection of any measures that undermine the unity of Somalia, its territorial integrity or its sovereignty over its entire territory; 4- The recognition of parts of states constitutes a serious precedent and threatens international peace and security, and violates the cardinal principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
5- The full rejection of any potential link between such measure and any attempts to forcibly expel the Palestinian people out of their land, which is unequivocally rejected in any form as a matter of principle.
