Hatua ya Israel ya Kuteka Ardhi ya Palestina: Uvamizi Mpya Dhidi ya Haki za Binadamu

Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na wahamiaji wa kipalestina inaikosoa vikali hatua ya Waziri Smotrich, ambaye ni mfuasi wa itikadi kali, ya kuteka ardhi ya ekari 8,000 za Bonde la Mto Jordan na kuitangaza kuwa sehemu ya ardhi ya taifa, hatua ambayo inalenga kuendeleza upanuzi wa makazi ya Walowezi. 

Tunaiona hatua hii kama uhalifu wa kweli unaofanywa kwa kufuata sera rasmi inayoharakisha mchakato wa Israel kuteka Ukingo wa Magharibi na kuzuia uwezekano wa kuundwa kwa taifa huru la Palestina. Wizara inasisitiza kwamba hakuna kizuizi kinachoweza kusimamisha uhalifu wa mrengo wa kulia wa Israel na kwamba jamii ya kimataifa imekuwa ikishindwa kutimiza wajibu wake wa kulinda watu wetu na kuheshimu maamuzi yake, hali ambayo inatoa mwanya kwa sera hizi za kikatili kuendelea bila kukabiliwa na adhabu. 

Tunakemea pia upotoshaji na uchochezi unaofanywa na viongozi wa kidini na kisiasa wa Israel, ambao wanazidi kusisitiza kwenye kauli za kueneza chuki na kufanya vitendo vya kikatili dhidi ya watu wetu, ikiwa ni pamoja na wito wa kuendeleza uteketezaji wa watu wetu katika Ukanda wa Gaza na kuharibu vijiji katika Ukingo wa Magharibi. Hatua hizi zote zinaonyesha dhamira ya dhati ya kuharibu na kufutilia mbali haki za watu wetu na lazima zikemewe kwa nguvu na jumuiya ya kimataifa ili kuleta haki na amani katika eneo letu.

*Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns Minister Smotrich's fascist decision to seize 8,000 dunams of the Jordan Valley and declare them state lands, paving the way for settlement expansion purposes. It considers it a crime in the true sense of the word, part of an official policy racing against time to annex the West Bank and erase the opportunity to realize the Palestinian state. The ministry sees no boundaries standing against the crimes of the ruling Israeli right-wing, nor ethical, moral, or international principles capable of stopping the Israeli extremism and fascism in the plight of our people, their annihilation, and the liquidation of their rights. Leading rabbis call for the completion of our people's annihilation in Gaza, considering them 'Amalekites', and the head of the so-called Benjamin Settlement Council calls for the destruction of villages in the West Bank as the Gaza Strip is destroyed. In various expressions and facets, it's one Israeli essence that denies the existence of our people, incites their annihilation and displacement, and what the occupation forces commit as a continuous massacre in the Shifa complex and its surroundings is a practical translation of these calls.*

*The ministry affirms that Israel's continuous evasion of accountability provides fascists with the necessary time to complete the slaughter of our people, their annihilation, the theft of their homeland, and their displacement from it. It believes that the ongoing international failure to protect our people and its inability to respect its commitments and decisions have become a cover and complicity with the crime of the century.*
