UN Rapporteur: Mauaji ya Kimbari Gaza Yanafanyika kwa Idhini ya Dunia.

Francesca Albanese, Mchunguzi na mwandishi wa Umoja wa Mataifa (UN) kuhusu masuala ya haki za binadamu huko Palestina, ametangaza kuwepo kwa "Mauaji ya Halaiki/kimbari" yanayo tokea hivi sasa Gaza kwa idhini ya dunia, kama ilivyokuwa kwenye matukio ya awali huko Srebrenica na Rwanda. 

Amesisisitiza umuhimu wa hatua za kimataifa dhidi ya mgogoro huu unaoendelea, akilinganisha na mauaji duniani kote, na kuelezea ushiriki kutoka nchi mbalimbali, ikiwa ni pamoja na Ufaransa, Marekani, Uingereza, Ukraine, Italia, Ujerumani, Afrika Kusini, na India.

Albanese ametoa wito wa kuongeza shinikizo kwa mifumo ya kisheria katika nchi zinazotuma wapiganaji ili kuwawajibisha kwa uhalifu wa kivita katika maeneo ya Wapalestina yaliyokaliwa.

Mwandishi wa UN alihimiza umuhimu wa kuweka shinikizo kwa mifumo ya mahakama katika nchi zinazotuma wapiganaji kutekeleza jinai za kivita katika mataifa mengine, ikiwa ni pamoja na maeneo ya Wapalestina yaliyokaliwa, ili kuwafikisha mahakamani na kuwawajibisha kwa matendo yao.

Matamshi ya Albanese yanajiri wakati akikabiliwa na shinikizo kubwa kutokana na msimamo wake wa kupinga uvamizi wa Israel tangu alipochukua wadhifa wake katika Umoja wa Mataifa mwaka 2022.

Tangu tarehe saba mwezi Oktoba mwaka jana, Israel imekuwa ikipigana vita vyenye uharibifu dhidi ya Gaza, ikisababisha vifo vya Wapalestina 20,424 na kujeruhi wengine 54,036 kufikia Jumapili, wengi wao wakiwa watoto na wanawake. Vita hivi pia vimesababisha uharibifu mkubwa wa miundombinu, kusababisha janga la kibinadamu lisilotarajiwa.

UN Rapporteur: Genocide in Gaza is occurring with the world's approval.

Francesca Albanese, the UN rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, stated that "genocide" is currently occurring in Gaza with the world's consent, similar to past events in Srebrenica and Rwanda. 

She emphasized the need for global action against this ongoing crisis, comparing it to massacres worldwide, and highlighted the involvement of mercenaries from various countries, including France, the United States, Britain, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, South Africa, and India. 

Albanese urged pressure on judicial systems in countries sending fighters to hold them accountable for war crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Pressuring the Judicial Systems

The UN rapporteur urged the necessity of exerting pressure on the judicial systems in countries that send fighters to commit war crimes in other nations, including the occupied Palestinian territories, to prosecute and hold them accountable for their actions.

Albanese's statements come amid significant pressure due to her anti-Israeli occupation stance since assuming her position at the United Nations in 2022.

Since the seventh of October last year, Israel has been waging a destructive war on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 20,424 Palestinians and injuries to 54,036 others as of Sunday, most of whom are children and women. This war has also caused massive infrastructure destruction, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
