Netanyahu Deepens Gaza Crisis: Defies International Calls for Civilians' Protection

Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: Netanyahu Responds to International Decisions and Positions Calling for the Protection of Civilians and Meeting Their Needs by Deepening Aspects of Genocide and Forced Displacement

Despite the decision of the International Court of Justice and before it, Security Council Resolution 2720, and the United Nations General Assembly resolution, and hundreds of demands, appeals, and warnings issued successively by many international officials and world leaders regarding the need to stop the humanitarian catastrophe and target civilians in the Gaza Strip and secure their basic humanitarian needs, nothing changes on the ground due to the unwillingness of the rulers of Tel Aviv to listen or respect what the world says and expresses concern about. 

What changes daily is the insistence of the occupation leaders to deepen the genocide of our people and expand the humanitarian catastrophe to encompass all the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian civilians, as well as escalate crimes against them and target them wherever they are. Perhaps the last days of the genocide war brought us horrific manifestations, the most prominent of which was the case of the girl Hind Rajab and her family. 

Occupation tanks fired shells amidst a group of people waving a white flag in one of the streets west of Khan Yunis, which led to the killing of the citizen Ramzi Sahoul, a 51-year-old Palestinian shop owner. In a scene that sends shivers down the spine, the occupation authorities handed over more than 80 decomposed bodies of unidentified martyrs who died in earlier periods of the war and were held by the occupation and buried in a mass grave in Rafah. 

As for the whirlwind of displacement from death to death, it happened without shame, as the occupation threatened citizens with destroying their homes over their heads if they refused to evacuate to Rafah after asking the residents of southwest Gaza City to evacuate to Deir al-Balah, and asked the residents of Deir al-Balah to evacuate to Al-Mawasi, and the residents of Khan Yunis to evacuate all to Rafah. 

In the midst of heavy rains, extreme cold, and the absence of any safe place in the Gaza Strip, in a whirlwind of confusion and refuge within the homeland and in the face of the alleged ethics of the occupation army, and in the light of increasing talk about an executive plan ready with the occupation forces to be implemented soon in Rafah, in addition to the recent incursion of the occupation army into the courtyard of the Al-Amal Hospital and its continuous siege of the Nasser Hospital to commit what it committed of heinous crimes in Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Mu'addani and others on the way to completely take them out of service. 

Also, in the context of the escalating bombing of homes and facilities and what remains of the towers and leveling them to the ground, and the insistence on turning the Gaza Strip into a barren desert unfit for human life. 

The ministry sees that the Israeli government continues to disregard international positions calling for the protection of civilians and stopping their forced displacement by igniting more fires in the arena of conflict. It still acts as if it is above the law and can commit whatever violations and atrocities against the Palestinian citizen, who has been stripped of his entire humanity and treated as if he does not deserve life. 

Thus, Israel places the international community not only in a legal crisis but also in a difficult ethical crisis because of its failure to protect Palestinian civilians and forcing Israel to fulfill its obligations as an occupying power. The Israeli government sacrifices the lives of the Palestinian people as a price for its internal crises and for bargaining and bidding within the ruling Israeli coalition. When will the world realize that Netanyahu's deliberate prolongation of the war is governed by his desire to remain in power and to achieve the wishes of his new fascist allies?

Katika siku za mwisho za vita vya mauaji tulishuhudia mambo ya kutisha, ambayo mojawapo muhimu zaidi ilikuwa kesi ya msichana Hind Rajab na familia yake. Vikosi vya ukaliaji vilifyatua mizinga yake katikati ya kundi la watu waliokuwa wakinyoosha bendera nyeupe katika moja ya mitaa magharibi mwa Khan Yunis, ambayo ilisababisha kifo cha Raia Ramzi Sahoul, mmiliki wa duka la Kipalestina mwenye umri wa miaka 51.

Katikati ya mvua kubwa, baridi kali, na kukosekana kwa mahali salama yoyote katika Gaza, katika kishindo cha machafuko na watu kukimbilia kujikinga ndani ya nchi yao, huku wakikabiliwa na maadili machafu ya jeshi la utawala. Bado inaendelea kujiona kama imepita kiasi kuhusu sheria na ina uwezo wa kufanya ukiukwaji wowote na vitendo viovu dhidi ya raia wa Palestina, ambao wamekosa haki zao za kibinadamu na kutendewa kama hawana thamani ya kuishi.

Hivyo basi, Israel inaweka jumuiya ya kimataifa si tu katika mgogoro wa kisheria bali pia katika mgogoro mgumu wa maadili kwa sababu ya kushindwa kwake kulinda raia wa Palestina na kuiweka Israel itimize majukumu yake kama nguvu inayokalia ardhi. Serikali ya Israel inatoa maisha ya watu wa Palestina kama bei ya migogoro yake ya ndani na kwa ajili ya mazungumzo na mikataba ndani ya muungano wa Israeli unaotawala. Ni lini ulimwengu utatambua kwamba kuchelewesha kwa makusudi kwa vita kunatawaliwa na tamaa ya Netanyahu ya kubaki madarakani na kufikia matakwa ya washirika wake wapya wa kifashisti?
