Muslim faithful in Dar es Salaam have criticized the negative behavior of Western media in the way they report on the conflict and killings carried out by Israelis against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking after the Friday prayer at Masjid Taqwa, Sheikh Ponda Issa Ponda said that Western media outlets have been deceiving people by portraying untrue characteristics of Palestinians. He also acknowledged that more and more people are beginning to understand the truth and no longer believe in hatred against Palestinians but instead support their struggle for independence and justice.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Hamdi Mansour Abuali, explained to the faithful and Tanzanians how Western nations are involved in undermining the Palestinian territory. He mentioned that Palestinians are currently facing a lack of essential services such as water, electricity, and food.
