ONE DEAD, MANY WOUNDED IN CONFRONTATIONS THROUGHOUT THE OCCUPIED TERRITORIES

RAMALLAH, One person was killed and dozens injured tonight in confrontations with Israeli soldiers throughout the occupied territories.

Medical sources said soldiers opened fire at Palestinians in Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah, injuring two, one of whom died later at hospital. He was identified as Ahmad Mueen Rimawi, 28.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said several people were injured by live bullets during confrontations at different locations in the occupied territories, most of them hit in the upper part of their bodies and some were said to be serious.

Thousands of Palestinians confronted Israeli soldiers at contact points in protest against the Israeli massacre at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza tonight that killed more than 500 people taking refuge in the hospital to escape the Israeli bombardment of their homes which started on October 7.
